Education and Experience
Maddie Johnston is the physicians assistant to Dr. Wroten. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in cellular and molecular biology at Stephen F. Austin where she graduated summa cum laude while also competing as a D1 volleyball scholarship athlete.
Upon graduating from SFA, she attended the UNT Health Science Center here in Fort Worth for PA school. Immediately upon graduating in 2016, she found a home at the Fort Worth Hand Center and has practiced here at our surgical orthopaedic clinic Fort Worth, TX ever since.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.

Maddie was born and raised in Arlington, Texas. When away from work, Maddie enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and joyously fulfills her new role as a mother to her son, Cohen. An outdoor enthusiast, Maddie also finds time to lead an active lifestyle and spend time with her family and friends.
