Dr. Reardon joined Dr. Wroten as an orthopaedic surgeon in Fort Worth in 2010.  Dr. Reardon’s practice focuses on the hand, wrist, arm and elbow. He enjoys the full gamut of hand issues ranging from injuries to chronic ailments such as nerve entrapment conditions and arthritis.  Dr. Reardon has treated a wide breadth of conditions from a vast array of occupations including professional athletes. He is recognized by his peers in the community for the care and expertise that he provides as well as being one of Fort Worth’s Top doctors by Fort Worth Magazine.

Educational Background

Dr. Reardon spent most of his youth in southeast Michigan but also managed to spend extended periods of time in England, Japan, and Costa Rica. Dr. Reardon attended the University of Michigan as an undergraduate before attending the Wayne State School of medicine. He then completed his internship and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at John Peter Smith Hospital.  In 2009, Dr. Reardon then pursued his fellowship at the Hand &Upper Extremity Fellowship Program at Thomas Jefferson University, in conjunction with the Philadelphia Hand Center.   

Treatment Philosophy

Dr. Reardon believes that caring for someone is an enormous responsibility, imbued by the trust that a patient places in him. In that regard, as a leading orthopaedic surgeon in Fort Worth, his focus is to treat his patients as he would his family. There are a variety of ailments that can impact the function of our hands and therefore the quality of our lives. His goal is to provide unparalleled care for his patients. Just as not all people are alike, nor are their hand problems. He strives to deliver catered solutions to their unique situations and be a partner in their decision making process.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Reardon enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristina, watching movies and sports.  He is also an amateur sculptor and avid cook. And when can find the time, he enjoys the new experiences gained via traveling.

Dr. Ryan Reardon is amazing! I went to see him for a trigger finger that had been bothering me for years. He listened to what I had to say. He explained what was going on with my finger (he even drew a picture so I could understand). He gave me 3 options which included surgery. then he gave me his opinion which was not surgery. He suggested a steroid shot and it worked great! He is so friendly. If he was a GP my whole family would be going to see him.

Dr. Reardon was extremely friendly and professional. He explained my situation to me and reviewed the several ways the condition could be treated. I chose to take injections. He was most careful with the injections in my finger joints. He frequently asked if the injections were painful. Prior to the injections he treated the sites with numbing agents and I felt little or nothing. I will see him again in about four months. I highly recommend Dr. Reardon.
